Toward the deeper truth of our being.
There, the person discovers that within them is a Divine Spark that seeks expression. And every level they rise does not separate them from others.
It unites them more deeply with others.
It makes them more responsible. More humble. More loving. Until human nature becomes transparent to the Light.
Until thought becomes a blessing. Speech becomes peace. The heart becomes Love.
And the whole of life becomes a gradual and conscious ascent toward the Infinitely Perfect.
This is a message of great hope. A fall is not always the end. A shipwreck is not always the final destination. The depths are not the soul’s true home. Christ is the One who lifts us up. But each person must be willing to be lifted. Those who have passed through a storm recognize the fear of others more easily. Those who have sunk and then been raised again do not quickly condemn those who have fallen. Those who have experienced Divine Help no longer speak about God only in theory.
They carry within themselves the living memory of His Presence.
Dogmatism is not simply a person’s attachment to a particular religious opinion. It is an inner condition in which someone believes that he possesses the whole truth and therefore stops seeking, exploring, and allowing himself to be enlightened. God’s Truth is infinite, while the human mind is limited. When a limited human being believes that he has fully grasped the Infinite, spiritual growth comes to a halt.
As this awakening unfolds, we realize that we have never truly been separate. The Life within us is the same Life within all. The Light within us is the same Light shining throughout creation.
