You Can Only Reach What You Believe You Can

Illumination | Chapter 3

Each day, ask yourself: — What do I believe about myself? — Do I believe I am worthy of Truth? — Do I believe I can touch the Light that called me? And if the answer is hesitant, do not condemn yourself. But work gently to dissolve the inner boundaries that were never yours to begin with. Remember: You are not called to earn the Divine — You are called to remember it.

A Spiritual Teaching

The measure of your ascent is the measure of your faith in it.

Every height you desire, every truth you seek, every transformation you long for — they all wait patiently within your reach, not in the external world, but in the space of your inner conviction.

You are not limited by what is possible.
You are limited only by what you believe to be possible.

The soul responds not to the boundaries imposed by the world,
but to the vision it holds of itself.
When you say “I can,” you open a gate.
When you say “I am,” you walk through it.

Belief is the first birth of reality.
Before you reach, you must know within that you are meant to arrive.
Before you take a step, you must have already seen the summit in your heart.

So do not ask, “Can I reach this?”
Ask instead, “Do I believe I can?”

And then, trust the Light within you.
Let it dissolve every illusion of distance,
every shadow of unworthiness.

Believe — not with the mind, but with your Being.
For what you believe in truth, becomes. And the Divine within you,
waits for that very moment —
when your belief touches your truth,
and you remember:
You already are what you are seeking.

O Infinite Father,
what voice may carry the yearning of the soul,
what tongue may shape the awe of my heart,
as I come before You in gratitude?

You — who give without measure,
who pour Your light into all who turn toward You,
who plant within us the seed of Love
that it may bloom and return unto You
and radiate to all that lives and breathes.

How shall I be worthy of such a Gift?
And yet You ask not worthiness,
but only that I love —
that I love You,
that I love my fellow beings,
that I become love.

I thank You, O Father,
for the light that awakens and guides,
for the darkness that teaches and humbles,
for the path that forms my steps,
for the breath that sustains this life,
for every soul that bears Your holy image.

Let my whole being rise as a hymn of thanksgiving.
Let my hands speak praise in their work,
let my voice echo worship in its silence,
let my thoughts be incense rising unto You.

Make of me a living prayer,
a chalice for Your Light,
a flame lit by Your Love,
an instrument in the Symphony of Your Will. Amen.
