Beloved Human Being,
Before every step on the spiritual path there stands a simple question: Do you truly know who your Neighbour is? Close behind it comes a second, harder one: Are you sincere about what you see within yourself when you meet him?
These two questions are one. You cannot serve the Will of the Father unless you see yourself clearly. And you cannot see yourself clearly unless your gaze turns, in the end, toward Offering.
How the Lie Was Born
With the Fall, the One Self, Humanity, was divided. Each fragment kept its own distance from the Source and wrapped itself in layers of energy shaped by the road it had travelled. From this came confusion: many perceptions of the same reality, many versions of our True Origin.
Isolation brought fear. That fear was a memory of the pain of separation, and also an inability to understand one another. To cover the emptiness they felt within, human beings turned to the lie. Behind the lie hid shame, and that shame did not arise from the judgment of others. It arose from comparing our imperfections with the memory of Perfection that remains engraved within us. On all of this, egoism raised its walls. The lie, then, did not begin as malice. It began as a covering over a wound.

Sincerity as a Function of Love
The Teaching of Love came to restore the Truth of the United Self, God and Human Being together. For Love to become a daily practice rather than an ideal, the first step is sincerity: toward every stance of the mind and heart, toward every person and every circumstance the day may bring.
Sincerity is not merely one more virtue to add to our character. It is a function within Love itself. It brings each element of our being into the Light, where it can be examined and transmuted. What is revealed finds its rightful place. What is hidden goes on working in the dark. Through the steady practice of sincerity, the Self slowly begins to become whole.
This is why sincerity demands courage. Distortion, untruth, appropriation and usurpation make up the Kingdom of Denial, and that kingdom fears nothing more than a sincere gaze. Without sincerity, Repentance becomes ritual and Purification becomes mere words. Sincerity is needed toward the Self, toward the Neighbour and toward God, who are, in essence, One.
The Subtlest Lie
The most dangerous lies are not the crude ones. They are the ones that wear spiritual garments. The teaching says it plainly: we lie in the name of Truth. In the same way, we divide in the name of Unity, and we crucify in the name of Love.
How does this happen in practice?
When we sort our brothers and sisters into the “awakened” and the “not yet,” placing ourselves on a higher step. When we believe we know the height of our own evolution, which is illusion, and still more when we believe we know the height of another’s, which is illusion twice over. When we love the form of the Teacher, His voice and His words, but only so far as they fit our own mould. When we wait for the imperfect part of our Self, living in another body, to become perfect before we will embrace it.
Sincerity asks you: How can you believe you are advancing while even one part of your Self is suffering?
If you deny God as your Neighbour, you live the state of Peter. If you deny Him as Spirit, you live the state of Judas. To contain Him, you must receive Him as He Is: Human and God at once.
The One Destiny
Why do we fall into these snares? Because in the very moment we feel ourselves awakening and rising, we forget the essential thing: wherever we may reach upon this Earth, our one and only destiny is to serve the Will of the Father.
Service is neither a title nor a rank. It is the continual expression of the Divinity you already are, not for an hour a day or one gathering a week, but in every moment. What you seek, you already possess. You are only learning to bring it to life.
Each person’s training is unique and concerns that person alone. This is why service begins with reverence: to treat every brother and sister as a God in training. To listen beyond your personal opinions, for what you hold to be just is often relative, while your path is aimed at the Absolute. Whoever longs to see God does His Will, and the way of doing it is Offering and help to every neighbour, without distinction.
Why One Cannot Exist Without the Other
Sincerity without service becomes an introspection that closes in on itself. Service without sincerity becomes egoism dressed in the mantle of ministry. Sincerity purifies the motive, and service gives it direction.
We are living at the close of a Cosmic Period. Divine Energy is quickening everything within us, and our dual expressions, both positive and negative, are flaring up and rising to the surface. This is not failure. It is the Mercy of the Father, cleansing us so that room may open for the Divine Spark to shine through. If today you see more imperfections than you saw yesterday, do not be afraid, and do not cover them again. Sincerity is the stance that works with the Light instead of resisting it.
For Daily Practice
- What am I hiding today, not from others, but from myself?
- To which brother or sister have I silently assigned a “grade” of evolution?
- Am I serving the Will of the Father today, or the image I hold of myself?
- Can I make room for another’s imperfection, as I long for room to be made for mine?
Beloved Human Being, the Kingdom you seek is within you. Sincerity is its door, and service is the way of living inside it. Let us, then, be sincere before the Wholeness of our Self, and let each of our days become a small, quiet service of the One Will.
